Art Activities; They are basically activities that aim to develop creativity, small muscle development, and aesthetic sensitivity. The important point in these studies is not the result obtained, but the methods used. The purpose of swimming lessons at Gokkusagi Schools is to help students socialize with group games and to experience sports activities. The main reasons for starting swimming training at an early age are to adapt to water, gain basic swimming skills, help motor development, progress in water without assistance, overcome the fear of water, and develop the heart-circulatory system in a positive way.

Swimming is not only a fun sport, but it is also one of the life-saving sports. For this reason, students receive training on subjects such as swimming pool adaptation, getting used to the water, breathing specific to swimming techniques, and foot strike techniques.

In the riding lessons, information is given about the emotional characteristics and body language of the horse, and an application is made about the correct use and fitting of horse and rider equipment. Students learn how to control the horse and how to move the horse as they walk.

Participating in clubs such as drama, theatre, chess, and debate increase students’ communication skills in both their mother tongue and foreign language. They learn teamwork and to express themselves. Their communication with each other and their socialization are also very effective in these activities.

In studies of Gokkusagi Sports Coordination (GSC), it is aimed to develop students’ gross motor skills and fine motor skills by using branches based on movement and physical activity. Another aim is to provide the highest level of development in student skills and contribute to psycho-motor development by performing simple to complex activities. Since the date students started their GSC studies, their progress is examined and recorded with the GSC follow-up form, which is filled in at the beginning and end of the semester. Gokkusagi Schools offer swimming, basketball, volleyball, football, ice skating, horse riding, table tennis, gymnastics, and rowing lessons and much more. Among the main reasons for starting education at an early age are;

Drama is expressing a thought with body language and acting. It is the transformation of an inner state, a design, a thought into action. With the drama method, the individual thinks, plans, organizes, and applies his thoughts by transforming them into action. In our drama lessons, our students learn new behaviors and emotions and gain experience. Thus, they develop their abilities such as controlling and changing their emotions, expressing their thoughts, communicating by speaking, and listening.

We think that using the schoolyard as a classroom as Gökkuşağı Schools is a great way to reconnect students to the natural world and the true source of their food. It allows students to connect with a variety of educational goals, including mathematics, science, art, health, physical education, and social studies, as well as personal and social responsibility.

In the process, students learn focus, patience, collaboration, teamwork, and social skills. They gain self-confidence and a sense of “ability” along with new knowledge and skills in food farming, which is very soon vital for the 21st century. Garden-based teaching also addresses different learning styles and intelligences.

The world is rapidly changing. This change is inevitable and at the heart of the change is the education. Both social life and business world need different thinkers, entrepreneurs and better equipped individuals. It is obvious that traditional education cannot meet such needs. Gokkusagi Schools, which are rapidly moving towards becoming a world brand in education, continue their breakthroughs in order to best educate the human resources that our country and the world will need. In order to create qualified, proactive, and fully equipped students in accordance with the requirements of the era, it operates intensively with all its facilities, starting from kindergarten to university.

One of the many studies conducted in Gokkusagi on this subject is to provide students with the spirit of “entrepreneurship”. Gokkusagi Schools conducts joint projects with The Junior Achievement Education Foundation, in order to educate its students better in the field of entrepreneurship. This foundation is a non- governmental organization that aims to establish a bridge between business and education by directing its work for the education of young people and children with entrepreneurial mind structure and by ensuring the active participation of business professionals and entrepreneurs in programs. It carries out important activities in our country. One of the activities of the foundation is “3X Program” aiming to provide high school students with the experience of business development, business plan development, starting a business and also caring students’ motivation to learn by doing and experience, personal skills, teamwork, human relations, financial literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving employability issues in the development.

Gokkusagi students regularly participate in the 3X program. Another activity, the innovation camps, is organized in 13 European countries, including Turkey, for students aged 8-18. The event aims to reveal the teamwork, communication, entrepreneurship skills of students. Our students show great interest in innovation camps. At the end of the camps, they are awarded various degrees in the “best team” field.

With life-changer MEET-up activities, our students learn about the career journeys of people in professional life, meet business people who can be taken as role models and communicate one-on-one with company managers. Our students benefit from this experience a lot and are inspired by these experienced people. This activity creates a big chance for young people opening new horizons.

The Entrepreneurial Skills Pass (ESP), also run by Junior Achievement Education Foundation, is an international qualification certificate valid in 20 countries that proves that students aged 15-19 have real entrepreneurial experience and have the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to start a business or be successfully employed. Students take themselves one step ahead of their competitors in university entrances, internships, and recruitment processes. Gokkusagi students have achieved various achievements from any ESP exam they have taken to date and have received international certificates.
