An IB World School & A Cambridge International School

International Education · Cambridge International School

World-class academics with Cambridge

As part of the University of Cambridge, Cambridge International offers a continuous, progressive academic pathway for ages 5 to 19. With its English-focused, broad and balanced curriculum, it prepares our students strongly for the world’s leading universities.

What Is a Cambridge International School?

From primary to high school, an uninterrupted pathway

The Cambridge education system is an integrated approach delivered across the primary, secondary and high school stages, developed by Cambridge International, part of the University of Cambridge. The Cambridge Pathway provides a structured, progressive framework in which each stage builds on the one before it.

The programme is English-focused: subjects such as Science and Mathematics are taught in English and aligned with global standards. The broad and balanced curriculum develops deep subject knowledge, independent thinking and, through internationally recognised qualifications, academic confidence, all together.

Gökkuşağı Schools is among the select schools that deliver this system comprehensively and successfully. The Cambridge programme is delivered under authorisation across all eight of our campuses.

Authentic Cambridge

Not a “Cambridge textbook,” but an accredited Cambridge school

Some schools simply add Cambridge coursebooks to a local curriculum. An accredited Cambridge school operates under official UK authorisation; a student does more than read a book, joining a recognised global pathway with an official student identity.

A surface approach

Textbooks added to a local curriculum

The claim “we use Cambridge books” is, more often than not, an English-heavy lesson. Without international accreditation, an official student identity or UK-based assessment, it offers no global academic validity.

The stage where academic depth increases and independent study and research skills develop. International benchmarking is carried out with Checkpoint.

    Lower Secondary Checkpoint
  3. High School · ages 14 · 16

    Examination on Campus

Students sit examinations on our campus under rigorous supervision that meets official Cambridge standards.

  2. United Kingdom

  3. The Result

    Global Benchmarking

The student receives an international progress report that positions their performance against a world standard, not just their class.

International Recognition

A qualification that opens onto the world’s respected universities

Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level qualifications are accepted as equivalent to the UK GCSE and A Level by the world’s leading universities. Independent evaluations confirm this equivalence as well.
