Since the 2012-2013 academic year, Gökkuşağı Schools has delivered iPad-based mobile learning in all its classrooms. Our teachers enrich the learning environment by choosing from thousands of educational and creative apps aligned with the curriculum.
This approach does not replace education at school; it completes it. With a blended learning philosophy, students reach reliable information from anywhere, revisit topics at their own pace and learn by creating original digital work with technology.
Our aim is not to increase time spent in front of a screen, but to raise a student who questions, creates and grows in digital literacy through technology.

Technology is a tool; the teacher is indispensable
The shared finding of educational research is clear: what matters is not technology on its own, but how it is used. For us technology is a tool that increases practice, speeds up feedback and allows revision at one’s own pace. It never replaces the relationship between teacher and student.
That is why we treat screen time as a means rather than an end; we balance digital work with offline activities and attend carefully to the student’s digital wellbeing and data security.

No. Online mobile learning is an approach that completes classroom education (blended learning). The teacher is always at the centre of the process; technology is a tool that enriches learning.
At Gökkuşağı the approach is iPad-based. Our teachers select apps aligned with the curriculum; Toontastic, TinyTap, GarageBand, RocketMath and MovieMaker are just a few of them. Each one directs the student towards active creation.
