Academic olympiads are competitions that bring students face to face with questions requiring deep reasoning and original problem solving, beyond the standard curriculum. At Gökkuşağı Schools we form olympiad teams in Mathematics, Science, Informatics and English for our curious and talented students.
Our teams work regularly and intensively throughout the year, guided by teachers who are experts in their field. Students compete in national and international competitions, earning medals and international certificates.
For us the real gain is not the medal alone; it is the deep thinking, perseverance and boundless curiosity the student develops.

At Gökkuşağı, olympiad teams are formed in Mathematics, Science, Informatics and English. Each team works under the guidance of teachers who are experts in their field.
They are the national science olympiads organised by TÜBİTAK for lower secondary and high school students. Made up of staged exams, summer and winter schools and team camps, this process is a genuine path opening onto the international olympiads.
The principal international science olympiads are the IMO (Mathematics), IPhO (Physics), IChO (Chemistry), IBO (Biology) and IOI (Informatics). These are the world’s most prestigious academic competitions for high school students.
Olympiad achievements are regarded by selective universities at home and abroad as strong evidence of exceptional ability and dedication. That said, the lasting gain is the thinking skills the student develops.
