We are happy and proud to announce that today, our students are traveling to Qatar to participate in a three-day MUN conference held by the prestigious Georgetown University in Qatar.
Georgetown Qatar’s Model United Nations Conference is being organized from February 16th to 18th, 2023.
Georgetown University in Qatar’s annual Model United Nations (MUN) conference is a forum to engage high school students from all over the world to debate over current global issues and gain insights into the world of international politics and policy-making.
Each year, this conference welcomes over 350 students from different schools from 18 international schools from 12 different countries and 33 schools from Qatar.
This year, the conference theme is :
“Global Security: Learning from the Past”
Our school is attending this conference with a delegation of 5 students from grades 9 and 10. We wish them to have a great time and enrich themselves with important experience in discussing and sharing opinions on global issues.
