STEM refers to an intense education in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Stem education includes formal and informal education in all age groups. Supporters of STEM studies defend that engineering education must be prevalent by joining into other fields and must begin at younger ages even in the primary school age. In addition, they demand that STEM education must be not only for highly gifted children but all children.
