Gökkuşağı Koleji Ankara Campus and the "Living School" Model

The Gökkuşağı Koleji Ankara campus has begun teaching in Ankara Çankaya with an internationally standardised education model, an expert staff of Turkish and foreign teachers, and extensive physical facilities. Having left behind a quarter of a century full of achievements in İstanbul, we look at the institution's Ankara campus particularly through the lens of its education model.

The "Living School" Education Model

Gökkuşağı Koleji embraces the "living school" model with the aim of raising individuals who think critically and creatively, who are knowledgeable, sensitive, principled, and who possess a spirit of leadership and an international awareness. With this student-centred and balanced approach, students become the subjects of the learning process. The international programs instil a universal vision, superior language skills and an understanding of continuous development, while lessons such as STEM and robotic coding prepare students for the needs of the 21st century.

Campus Facilities

With 15,000 m² of indoor space, the campus is equipped for a learning-by-experience approach: Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT and STEM laboratories; a swimming pool, a running track, an artificial-turf pitch, an archery range, and indoor and outdoor sports halls; an amphitheatre, a pocket cinema hall, dance and music academies, an art workshop; an organic farming classroom, a library, a conference hall, flexible classrooms, an infirmary and a restaurant.
