Transforming Memories Workshop – Colourful Family Journal

11 November 2025 · Bursa Ozluce Campus · Ages 3–11

In the Transforming Memories Workshop, parents and children reinterpreted their memories through colour, pattern and collage to create their own colourful family journals. Starting from photographs, keepsakes and dreams, the pages grew into a story unique to each family.

Art is an easy way to share what can be hard to talk about within a family. Cutting and gluing together, choosing colours and telling the story behind a memory, family members listen to each other, share their feelings and create a shared memory. The collage technique also develops children’s sense of composition and colour.

We held the workshop on 11, 12 and 13 November 2025, during the mid-term break, at our Bursa Özlüce Campus. There were sessions at 10:00 and 11:00 for the 7–11 age group and at 13:00 and 14:00 for the 3–6 age group; each session lasted one hour and participation was free.
