Recycled Sculpture Garden – Family Project

In the Recycled Sculpture Garden, parents and children designed nature-themed sculptures from recycled materials. At the end of the workshop, each family’s sculpture took its place in a shared sculpture garden.
Sustainable art shows children that a material can have a second life. Keeping a sculpture standing means thinking about balance and structure, which brings simple engineering skills into play alongside art. Because families take part together, parent and child plan and make side by side.
We held the workshop on 13 November 2025, during the mid-term break, at our Istanbul Bahçeşehir Campus for children aged 7–10 and their families, in two sessions starting at 11:30 and 13:00. Participation was free.
