Gökkuşağı Python Coding School
11 November 2025 · Bahcesehir Campus · Ages 7–11
At the Gökkuşağı Python Coding School, children aged 7–11 were introduced to Python, a real programming language. Starting with simple commands, the sessions covered breaking a problem down into steps, writing the steps in the right order and seeing the result of their code straight away.
Coding is algorithmic thinking at its most concrete: a child learns to describe how to do something down to its smallest parts. When they make a mistake, rereading and fixing their code strengthens patience and problem-solving skills. For a child who gets their own small project running, this is where the feeling of “I can do it too” begins.
We held the workshop on 11, 12 and 13 November 2025, during the mid-term break, at our Istanbul Bahçeşehir Campus, as three sessions from 13:00 to 14:00 each day. Participation was free.
