Pixel Art Bead Design

In the Pixel Art Bead Design workshop, children arranged colourful mini beads on a template to create their own pixel art patterns. Deciding where each bead should go, the little ones discovered how a whole picture emerges from tiny dots.
Working with tiny beads is a wonderful exercise for fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination. Recognising colours, building a pattern and seeing a task through to the end support attention and focus. The children left the workshop with a small work of art they had designed themselves.
We held the workshop on Saturday 13 December 2025 at our Istanbul Beylikdüzü Campus for children aged 3–6, in four 45-minute sessions from 10:00 to 13:00. Participation was free.
