Number Hunters: Little Architects
13 December 2025 · Beylikduzu Campus · Ages 3–6
In the Number Hunters: Little Architects workshop, children used blocks to complete small building tasks matched to numbers. Finding a number, building a structure with that many blocks and lining the structures up in order, the little ones brought maths and engineering together in the same game.
Counting, matching and ordering are the cornerstones of early mathematical thinking. When these concepts become concrete through blocks, children see that numbers stand for something real. Building, meanwhile, brings in thinking about balance, shape and planning, so creativity and maths grow together.
We held the workshop on Saturday 13 December 2025 at our Istanbul Beylikdüzü Campus for children aged 3–6, in four 45-minute sessions from 10:00 to 13:00. Participation was free.
