Happy Feet on the Ice Rink

Happy Feet on the Ice Rink was a movement workshop held at an ice rink for children aged 3–6, led by instructors. In a safe environment, the children made their first attempts at gliding and got to know the ice through simple movement exercises and balance games.
Even standing on the ice is a big achievement for a young child. The balance and coordination needed to skate quickly develop body awareness, while falling and getting back up builds self-confidence and perseverance. Being on the rink with friends also made the workshop an energetic, social and happy experience.
Organised by our Istanbul Beylikdüzü Campus, the workshop took place on Saturday 13 December 2025 for children aged 3–6, in four 45-minute sessions from 10:00 to 13:00. Participation was free.
