Dream Machine – Shared Mind Map Installation

In the Dream Machine – Shared Mind Map Installation, children and their families built a large map of dreams together. Each family added its own ideas to the map with colours, drawings and short notes; by the end of the workshop, the individual dreams had come together as one shared installation.
A mind map is a method that puts an idea at the centre and makes the thoughts branching out from it visible. Using it, children learn to organise their thoughts and make connections between ideas, while the family enjoys creating together and listening to each other’s dreams. The activity nurtures creativity and teamwork at the same time.
We held the workshop on 11 and 12 November 2025, during the mid-term break, at our Istanbul Bahçeşehir Campus, as two 75-minute sessions for children aged 7–10 and their families. Participation was free.
