Colourful Code Cards

Colourful Code Cards was a play-based workshop that introduced young children to coding thinking without screens. Following the directions shown on colourful cards, the children tried to reach a target: they thought about how to put the cards in the right order, tested their ideas and corrected them when needed.
At its heart, coding means describing a task step by step. Finding directions, sequencing and simple algorithmic logic are learned in a concrete way at this age, through cards and games. The workshop supported problem-solving and organised thinking in an age-appropriate, fun way.
We held the workshop on Saturday 6 December 2025 at our Ankara Çankaya Campus for children aged 3–6, from 10:30 to 12:00. Participation was free.
